Al Khulaifi, Japanese Envoy Call for Full Implementation of Gaza Ceasefire

Qatar’s Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, HE Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, held talks in Doha with Okubo Takeshi, Special Assistant to the Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Ambassador responsible for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.

The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation between Qatar and Japan, reviewing regional developments, and discussing the situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories. Both sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, with particular attention to humanitarian and reconstruction efforts in Gaza.

Dr. Al Khulaifi stressed the need for coordinated regional and international action to ensure the full implementation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement. He said that sustained enforcement of the truce is essential to creating conditions for long-term peace and stability in the region.
